Clémentine Débrosse

It is during a trip to Australia that Clémentine discovered Oceania as a discipline. After she spent three years at the École du Louvre where she specialised in the arts and anthropology of Oceania, Clémentine joined the University of East Anglia in Norwich, United Kingdom. Her main focuses of research are centered around Contemporary Pacific art, whether it is through visual arts of performative arts. For her bachelor dissertation, she worked on the Australian Indigenous dance company, Bangarra Dance Theatre: Not an Heirloom: A Reappraisal of Identity. Still in Norwich, Clémentine has now joined the master in the arts of Africa, Oceania and the Americas as part of the Sainsbury Research Unit.
